The top destination that Turks wish to fly to domestically on New Year's Eve is İstanbul, with Kiev, Ukraine being their top choice for travel beyond Turkey, according to a travel metasearch engine.
The data, which was gathered from searches for flight destinations on the website momondo.com, revealed that the top places Turkish people wish to visit over that period are İstanbul, İzmir, Ankara, Antalya and Trabzon respectively, on domestic flights. For travels abroad, the top destinations are Kiev, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (KKTC), Berlin, Belgrade, Amsterdam, Rome and Paris.
